This dainty 10mm faceted Golden Labradorite is surrounded by 14/20 gold-filled spacers, 4mm smooth Sodalite and tiny yellow opals from Australia.  This is a perfect piece for layering with a gold chain.  I have attached a one inch gold-filled extender chain for greater options for layering your jewelry.

Sodalite is a perfect denim color blue with inclusions of calcite.  Against the gold the blue really pops along with the golden flash of the Labradorite focal.

A note about 14/20 Gold-Filled

Gold-filled materials are an excellent alternative to solid gold, offering gold’s characteristic warm yellow at a fraction of the cost.  Gold-filled metal is not actually filled with gold, it is a term that became accepted in the jewelry industry.  Gold-filled is a quality designation that is regulated by the Federal trade Commission (FTC).  14/20 gold-filled is made with a layer of 14 karat gold that is 1/20th or (5%) of the total weight.  Making gold-filled is a strictly regulated process that involves pressure bonding multiple layers of sold gold with extreme heat over a core of high quality jeweler’s brass or sterling silver resulting in a durable quality gold product.

Your gold-filled jewelry will last a lifetime if cared for properly.  Wipe down your gold-filled with a damp non abrasive cloth to keep it shiny and free from oils and dust.  As with all your quality jewelry, store your gold-filled items separately to keep them from being scratched by hard surfaces or other jewelry.
