Jaded and Blue Statement Necklace

I am a huge fan of jade and lapis.  Combining these two strong gemstones from antiquity delights many of my senses.  Visual, tactile, intellectual and emotional, these are the senses that this maker gets all the feels from when working with these stones.

These Canadian Jade cube beads are rich in color and feel, and really make a statement and lasting impression.  The raw carved Lapis Lazuli from Afghanistan , the region of the world where lapis has been mostly found for thousands of years,  has been hand carved and left unpolished for what I like to call, a more rugged and earthy appeal.  The leaf is just under 2″ long.  This statement necklace is very earthy and natural making it a true stand out.

The metal chain, spacers and clasp are stainless steel and along the strand are a few 3mm faceted hessonite garnet and raw lapis saucers as spacers.  I love this necklace!
